The Chief Executives Forum implements strategy and direction set by the Mayoral Forum. Its members are the chief executives of the 10 territorial authorities and the regional council (Environment Canterbury).

What does the Chief Executives Forum do?
The Chief Executives Forum:
- implements the Mayoral Forum’s three-year work programme
- identifies and escalates strategic issues and opportunities to the Mayoral Forum
- oversees the work of the Policy, Corporate and Operations Forums and technical working groups.
The Chief Executives Forum meets quarterly and is supported by the regional forums secretariat hosted by Environment Canterbury.
